ArtLover's Workshop - Alan Ness
ArtLover's workshops, presented by the Friends of TCM, are two to three-hour sessions designed
for adults with busy schedules who'd like to do something creative. This next ArtLover's
workshop "Basic Techniques in Acrylic Painting" will be held at TCM on Saturday,
February 21. The presenter is Alan Ness painter and glass blower.
The three hour class, demonstrating some basic techniques in acrylic painting, will be
specifically working with landscapes, including beach scenes, and some floral imagery.
There will be a few examples and in-progress work. The students should expect to at
the very least have their backdrop finished and can take home the painting to finish at
their leisure. They are encouraged to bring photos or imagery that they find inspiring and
any other small easily portable items to draw inspiration from.
