Volunteering with the Friends is a great way to meet people with similar interests and we are always looking for help in various capacities.

TCM Volunteer Needs

These are many of the areas currently identified as areas of need, in light of the recent staff reduction and regular / upcoming events and activities

General TCM Volunteer Needs

1. Front Desk Volunteers both weekday and weekend (3 hour shifts 10-1 and 1-4; Sundays 12-2 and 2-4)

2. General Office assistance twice each week, on a regular basis to assist Gordon, Membership and Exhibitions

3. Exhibitions Assistance: ideally to have Excel, PhotoShop, and InDesign experience and be able to come in on a regular basis, 2 -3 times a week to primarily assist Inger with the many tasks that lie before her

4. Shop volunteers through the holidays: 11:30/12:00-3:00pm on Tuesdays in particular. 3 hour shift

5. Website update volunteer once a week
6. Education Assistant once/2x each week

Special Friends Volunteer Needs

1. Committee to increase membership to TCM and Friends, and help reduce membership fall-off

2. Phone Bank volunteers to assist with:

a. Engaging lapsed members
b. Engaging Annual Fund donations

3. ArtSpree 2010 Event Committee:

We are currently asking past committee members to participate again, these are the different committee positions we work to fill:

Chair, Arrangements, Hands On Art Activities, Green Team, Volunteer & Participant Lunches, Music, Dance, PR, Secretary, Treasurer

5. ConTempo 2010 volunteers:

a. Computer Support volunteer for ConTempo 2010 (to assist with the generation of letters for premium table sales, various donors, tax letters, thank you’s etc.

b. Exhibitions/registrar intern to assist with all of the related paperwork in regards to shipping, receiving, installing, and dispersing the art

c. Other committee volunteers as identified by Chair Cheryl Hetherington
