Yvonne Cheng hosted a Friends gathering Friday evening April 3rd at her home and studio.

This was a unique opportunity to view Yvonne's work in progress and hear her explain the process she goes through to create her very special works of art. She had two large paintings in development. She told the group her steps in their creation, starting with a pencil sketch, then preparing the canvas with background color. The pareo draped women require hours of fine painting to represent the folds in the material and the result is amazingly detailed.
