ConTemPORARITIES Art Tour

Kicking up the annual ConTemPORARITIES Art Tour a notch with help from the staff at Neiman Marcus.

ConTemPORARITIES Art Tour was followed by Sunset Wine and Cheese tasting on the Lanai of Mariposa on Tuesday, April 10 at 5 p.m. This tour covered the art selected from internationally , nationally and locally renowned artists was sold at TCM gala fundraiser, ConTempo 2007.  Among some of the artists’ works on display and available for sale are a David Chihuly glass piece, a Deborah Butterfield bronze horse, a Kaili Chun stone sculpture, and a Sally French painting.  In fact, Sally French will be there along with another local artist to speak about their works.

After the tour wine and cheese was served on the Mariposa Restaurant lanai (reserved especially for us) overlooking the sunset at Ala Moana Beach. David Brown, Mariposa General Manager, was quite knowledgeable about wine and planned a very special evening of tasting for the group. It was a very special opportunity.
