Artist Statement
for bench, Frog Tied:
I wanted this bench to look as if it were loosely made out of yarn by a couple of
industrious but technically inept and rushed frogs. They made it and are now working
on a project at Burning Man. Its made out of 1/4" steel rods. The ends are tied
together with knots. The thin diameter of the rods give the bench a precarious look
but it is actually very stable.
